P.T.C., Petroleum Technical Company, is an Italian Limited company founded since over 30 years ago to perform mainly a Petroleum Inspector activity, to validate volumes and quality of crude and oil products as well as capacity of tanks in oil depots.

This activity , which gained to the company a reputation for high skill, professional competence and seriousness, has been later on expanded and eventually concentrated on the design , manufacture and marketing of maintenance equipment mainly destined to the oil refining industry.

In the last two decades this activity was even further focused on the High Pressure Waterjetting Technology , bringing PTC to a leading position in this market for many special hydrodynamics maintenance applications (e.g. ship repair, steel and oil process ) as well as process industry ( Rubber Hose, Automotive, Decorative Stones,etc.).

Nowadays this activity, which utilizes as "product core" top notch plunger pumps, such as KAMAT, Myers, etc , has been further developed covering other fields of use for the VHP & UHP WaterJetting technology, from maintenance programs in civil engineering ( buildings, motorways, airport runways, harbour installations, dams, power plants, sewer lines,etc ), to marine applications ( surface preparation in drydocks, cargo holds cleaning, etc ) as well as special process plants ( sugar and cement factories, petrochemicals, foundries, rubber hoses, etc).

Both plunger pump units and special application tools are engineered and designed in PTC R&D department utilizing CAD stations and highly qualified graduated engineers.

Our products are produced taking into account even the slightest customer requirement, in  brand new manufacturing facilities, located half way between Genoa International Airport and the Harbour and fully equipped to assure the respect of high standard of precision and quality.

Each unit, be it with diesel or electric drive , is individually checked in the High Pressure Unit Testing Area , with results collected in the Assembly Sheet and Final Q.C. forms for certification and back-tracking purposes.

PTC customers can therefore count not only on high performing and reliable units, but also on a qualified Technical Service organisation capable to support them with spares and track back  each component even after decades of satisfactory field use.
